Our Ethos: Growing Together, Reaching Higher
At Bramblewood Primary School, our motto — Growing together, reaching higher — is more than words on a wall. It reflects our belief that children flourish when they feel rooted in a caring community and are given the confidence to stretch beyond what they thought possible.
Our four school values — Respect, Resilience, Curiosity and Kindness — underpin everything we do. They are celebrated in assemblies, reflected in our behaviour policy, and lived out daily in classrooms, on the playground and in our Forest School sessions.
British Values
We actively promote British Values through our curriculum and school life. Our School Council gives pupils a genuine voice in decision-making (democracy). Our behaviour system teaches children about rules and consequences (rule of law). We encourage children to make their own choices and respect others' (individual liberty). Our diverse curriculum celebrates different cultures, faiths and traditions (mutual respect and tolerance).
