Early Years at Bramblewood
Our Reception class is led by Miss Chen in our purpose-built Early Years unit, which opens directly onto a secure outdoor learning area. Children benefit from continuous provision that flows between indoor and outdoor spaces, with weekly Forest School sessions from their very first term.
We follow the statutory EYFS framework with a strong emphasis on learning through play. Our 'curiosity approach' environment uses natural materials, open-ended resources and real-world provocations to spark wonder and investigation. Children develop early reading through systematic synthetic phonics (Little Wandle) and build mathematical thinking through practical, hands-on activities.
